Fejø Cider
Cider is an organic natural product made from 100% pure fermented apple juice. Stop by the cidery's own shop in the summer, or try Fejø Cider at many of the local restaurants.
The product is made from real cider apples from our own plantations on the island of Fejø, where the apples are hand-harvested. The cider is wild-fermented on its own cider, and with the fine bubbles formed through spontaneous bottle fermentation.
Great emphasis is placed on the dual role of both grower and producer, and thus you have a hand in the entire process from field to bottle. The first cider apple orchard was established on Fejø in 1999. At the time, it was the country's only professional plantation with the special varieties for cider, and is still the Nordic region's largest grower/producer of real cider apples.
Cider is produced for every season, every occasion and every dish. Can be used for everything from aperitifs, to braised pork and beef, in summer, for Christmas, for red cheese, for drinks, for sushi - only the imagination sets the limits.
