Frejlev Forest
Frejlev forest with over 100 mounds, 13 dolmens and 5 passage graves, including King Green's mound.
Frejlev Forest is located along the coast towards Bredningen in Guldborgsund.The landscape is flat and low-lying, and slopes gently towards the coast. To the north – northeast, the forest is bounded by the coast, while the majority of the landscape around Frejlev Forest is open farmland. However, there is a larger forest area (Roden Skov) south of Frejlev Skov. The two forests are separated by a few hundred meters wide piece of farmland.
