Kjelsø Lejren
Some 40 years ago, there was a group of visionary people who wanted to create a camp and activity centre for children and young people in central Jutland. They purchased the nearly 100-year-old Brårup school at Ans and established a camp building, which became known Kjelsølejren.
Since 1968, thousands of children and young people have enjoyed unforgettable experiences at the camp. Every year, between 1,700 and 1,800 participants visit the camp. The camp is used by children and young people in large parts of central Jutland, from as far away as Vildbjerg and Timring in west Jutland.
