Lyngvig Fyr (Lighthouse)
Lyngvig Lighthouse is temporarily closed to visitors, but come and visit the lighthouse keeper's house and café. The area around Lyngvig Lighthouse also offers many free nature experiences.
Lighthouse keeper's house with shop and café
Visit the Lighthouse Master's House with its cosy museum shop, which is packed with a large selection of fun retro items, nostalgic handicrafts, local goods and souvenirs. At the back of Fyrmesterboligen you will find the cosy café environment. The café offers light meals, cakes and hot and cold drinks, which can be enjoyed both inside and in the large outdoor area around the lighthouse.
Large nature playground
In the large natural playground around the lighthouse keeper's house, the family's youngest and young at heart can play back in time and rescue brave sailors in dramatic strandings on the cable car or try to crawl around in a giant whale skeleton.
Take an adventure in nature
Lyngvig Lighthouse is located in the most beautiful dune landscape - and only a few metres from the North Sea. Park your bike or car and take a walk through the dunes, head to the beach and feel the
North Sea.
You can also download the popular and free Natureventyr app and go on an adventure in the area with the boy Anker, who discovers and tries to help a stranded whale.
Practical information and availability
Visiting the shop, café and nature playground is free of charge.
Dogs on a leash are welcome
There is wheelchair access to the Lighthouse Master's Residence with café and shop. The paths in the courtyard are paved and there is a disabled toilet.
