Itineraries across Denmark
We've put together an itinerary with some of our favourite Wonders from our six destination partners at The Denmark Pavilion in Paris. Check them out on the map below!
Copenhill, Copenhagen
You can now ski in our capital, that's right, Copenhagen has its very own ski slope atop our newest and greenest power plant. Not crazy about skiing? You can walk up, too and enjoy beautiful views of the capital with a hot or cold drink!
ØsterGRO, Copenhagen
Denmark's first rooftop farm is a beautiful sight to behold. Busy bees, luscious plants and a greenhouse that hosts a restaurant serving all organic breakfast, lunch and dinner. Sip on natural wine and take in the sunset after dinner for a true Copenhagen summer experience.
Hjorths Ceramic Museum, Bornholm
Hjorth's Factory was built in 1859, and now houses a beautiful ceramic museum–an art form the island of Bornholm is renowned for. Go on guided tours, see how the ceramics are made, and, of course, see how designs have changed over time.
The Opal Lake, Bornholm
Once a granite quarry, this lake is now the perfect place to take a swim in the summer, hike around, or simply take in the spectacular views.
Hans Christian Andersen's House, Odense
Stepping into the H.C. Andersen is like diving into the author's imagination. Surprising, magical and brimming with information about his world-famous fairy tales. Architecture fans will also be in awe of this newly-opened museum.
Egeskov Castle, Fyn
Egeskov is not just a beautiful Renaissance castle to enjoy, its grounds are also the perfect place to spend an action-packed day. There are mazes, an extensive garden, exhibitions in the farmhouses and a full forest (and its treetops!) to explore.
Røsnæs Point, Zealand
The Røsnæs peninsula juts 15km out into the Great Belt. It's one of the sunniest (and driest!) spots in Denmark. It's the perfect spot to see different fauna and has perfect conditions for vines, making it a great wine country with four vineyards to choose from!
Trelleborg Viking Museum, Zealand
The Trelleborg Viking fortress was recently added (alongside four other Danish fortresses) to the UNESCO World Heritage List. The museum is the perfect place to brush up on your Viking knowledge and immerse yourself in history.
LEGO House, Billund
With 25 million bricks, you'll be hard-pushed to not let your imagination run wild! Build your own creations, experience all six Zones and don't forget to see the Masterpiece Gallery and get some inspiration! Perfect for everyone, no matter your age.
Kongernes Jelling - Home of the Viking Kings, Vejle
The Jelling Monuments are a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the accompanying experience centre invites the whole family to explore the Viking age through unique digital experiences. Learn all about old kings and their lives in the Viking Age.
Wadden Sea Centre, Ribe
Located right next to Denmark's largest natural park and UNESCO World Heritage Site is its very own Centre. Go on oyster safaris, learn about the millions of migratory birds and immerse yourself in this park's natural beauty.
The Night Watchman, Ribe
This fascinating tradition started in the 14th century when a Night Watchman patrolled the streets, singing on the hour to reassure the townspeople all was well. Now purely for tourists, the Night Watchman can give you a taste of what life was like before watches!
